En las p\u00e1ginas del presente n\u00famero de Memoria<\/i>, Roberto Mart\u00ednez comparte su trabajo gr\u00e1fico, con el mismo compromiso militante con el que anda por el mundo impulsando la bicicleta.<\/p>\n

Mientras el arte dominante y comercial no se ensucia las manos y, con sus discursos posmodernos, se aleja de los problemas sociales contempor\u00e1neos, la gr\u00e1fica de Roberto rueda por los caminos de la sencillez y la potencia ciclista que lucha por ciudades m\u00e1s humanas. Por eso, de un tiempo para ac\u00e1, panfletos, volantes y libros editados por el movimiento ciclista de la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico son ilustrados con su obra.<\/p>\n

La denuncia de una ciudad cada d\u00eda m\u00e1s hostil con sus habitantes y el pedaleo colectivo para impulsar alternativas se ilustra de manera extraordinaria no s\u00f3lo con la obra de Roberto sino, tambi\u00e9n, con su historia. Originario del pueblo de Tl\u00e1huac, de ni\u00f1o sufri\u00f3 un accidente ciclista que le provoc\u00f3 una grave incapacidad motriz. Pero su fortaleza lo impuls\u00f3 a subirse de nuevo a un veloc\u00edpedo adaptado a sus necesidades y a convertirse en un artista. \u00c9l es hoy un icono de la revoluci\u00f3n que avanza en bicicleta.<\/p>\n
